Report a work-related injury

Under Singapore's Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA), if you have an accident while delivering with Amazon Flex that results in a doctor certifying you unfit for work (MC) or requiring hospitalization, Amazon is legally required to report this to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

When is an injury reportable?
An injury may be reportable if it occurs while performing delivery activities on the Amazon Flex platform, including:

  • Travelling to a pick-up location
  • While at the pick-up location
  • Travelling to a delivery location
  • Completing the drop-off and returning to your vehicle

You can find guidance on activities during which an injury needs to be reported on the Ministry of Manpower website here.

If you are involved in such an incident, you must notify Amazon Flex immediately over phone or email (amazonflex-support@amazon.sg). Amazon Flex will reach out to you to collect all relevant information about the incident within 24 hours. Submit all required details by email to amazonflex-support@amazon.sg within 7 days from the date Amazon Flex first reaches out to you.

When reporting, please be prepared to share:

  • A description of what happened (date, time, location)
  • Details of your injuries and any medical treatment
  • Your NRIC /Identity Number
  • Your residential address
  • Any supporting documents (photos, police reports, medical reports)

Delays in reporting or providing information may affect the reporting timeline and could delay your access to Work Injury Compensation benefits. After you report, the Amazon Flex team will reach out to you for more details and next steps, including connecting you with our claims administrator.
